I 've never imagine that this amazing phone would come from LG. I can say that they are giving good competencies lately in our mobile phone industry, in terms of features of course. But following the thread of smartphones, I really never thought that having a dual core processor on a phone just like a high-end laptop or desktop computer would come from this brand and make this O2x gain a monster record in Guinness as "The First DualCore Smartphone".
Since cellphones has been introduced in the market, I always give an eye to the latest. But would anyone be contented by just merely seeing the phone in pictures or in videos? Maybe them but not me, LOL, so I try to sacrifice something or take a little from my savings to have it. In this way, I can compare and differentiate their peculiarity one from the other aside from the fact that I enjoy exploring their assets and flaws.
Once saw this LG Optimus 2X(O2x for short and that 2x stands for dual core processor I think), from a flyer while strolling in the mall with huny, got really amazed for its specs and features. I can't help but to stare every corner of the phone printed on the leaflet with 3D effect, looks really powerful and real smart.
After research and pondering on some instances(budget is the main of course) about this piece of technology, I finally decided to include it in our budget and get one sooner. I am patiently contenting myself with a low-end phone that I'm currently using because I'm still undecided what model and brand to buy for, but not until now. I lined up many choices but this phone really rocks in terms of everything, and I mean "everything"!
I'll tell you the real score and probably you'll understand the pointers that makes a smartphone a genius phone ;

1.) Tegra2 chipset - a powerful dual-core ARM with 1Ghz speed, I really can't imagine that, plus the GeForce graphics(powered by NVIDIA) which is very familiar to me in terms of desktop and laptop computer with its stunning display, quality and performance especially in the world of gaming.

2.) 4-inch IPS LCD(In-Plane Switching) capacitive touchscreen -super vibrant and crystal-like display, very nice colour, better viewing angles, battling with iPhone4's retina display and others' AMOLED/Super AMOLED display, I suggest you to have one and get ready to be stunned by this feature!
3.)Whooping 8megapixel camera and HD video recording - a digicam always ready on your hand or in your pocket, you'll surely don't miss any happy moments with you and with anyone else especially bloggers like us. Maybe it would have been much better if LG bundled it with aXenon flash, that would create a perfect phone. haha, LOL, that's too much to ask for. Another thing is the super-cool 1080p/720p HD video recording. When we talk about 1080p/720p resolution it signifies high-definition television(HDTV) like 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio making a resolution of 1,920pixels wide by 1,080 high, it's also tagged as FullHD, a really plus factor for the genius O2x.

4. HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface) port - in line with the FullHD video recording feature, this is also one factor that this O2x has to boast off. It enables your device to connect to your PC, LCD monitor, TV or any device with compatible port, with this you can watch movies, play games and manage datas on your O2x baby in a high-definition way. :-)

5.) Threaded messaging - not all phones have this feature, just like having a continuous conversation(chatting) with your friend, no cuts, no interruption. You don't have to go back manually to inbox, outbox, sent items. This help lessen "out of this world" replies, wrong sent and frequently asked "hu u?!"(right?!). Whew, messaging made really easier.
6.) Android OS powered by Google - and lastly the very thing that this o2x made genius, the Android operating system. We can't deny that this OS is one of the most advanced as of today. With its very friendly user interface and market full of free and useful applications any phone can be genius, perfect pair with LG O2x making it real hardcore in the business.

How about it's pricing and value?! Actually, compared to the other high-end and latest phone out in the market today, this O2x is not too pricey or expensive rather, with its features and elegant design this would probably a good buy for everyone. And of course, everyone also has second choice in mind when all else fails, right?! So, if my budget won't allow me for that O2x, I'll surely choose it's brother, the LG Optimus Black. Same elegance, same feature, and same greatness from the same reliable brand (LG, of course). Just a very little drawback I noticed was it has 5megapixel camera compared to 8megapixel O2x has, but still competes with other rivalries. Not a dual-core one, but still runs on 1Ghz processor which is still an advantage compared to other smartphones. It also runs on Android 2.2 Froyo, still it makes a smartphone a "genius" phone. One aspect this phone brags about is it's 4-inch NOVA display, clearest and brightest as stated by others, gives a natural experience reading your messages, emails and browsing the net. It may be also one of the thinnest phone out there today.
Lets take a last glance with "The Brothers" tag team in business and decide also for yourself.

It needs me time to post for this because I need to ask for his siblings. Huny never been a brother to me hahaha.. He knew that. He's always been my baby and I am her ate slasher mom slasher huny.
Agnes said (his sister) huny always set as a good example to them. He minimizes flaws and faults and hides his bad self whenever his home. He rarely speak so he check his siblings activities in few words. Few questions but straight to what he wanted to know. He don't want her sisters wearing short shorts or revealing blouses. (conservative!) He plays basketball with his brother and it's friends to observe how they are outside home. He checks them by asking their mom to tell him the story or what happened in a week.That's why when his youngest brother was murdered he was too emotional, even up until today. He blames himself for what happened. He thought that he missed something for his youngest brother. That he failed his part as a brother.I even needed the help of his closest friend to calm him down and realized stop blaming his self. Gladly special thanks to Fr. Bubot for the help he was enlightened. And lastly, the best part as for her sister told me was, he never or hard to say no for a request. If he can, he always wanted to give everything.
I have a saint with me! hehehe.. Who will not be lucky having him then?!
The day we found out that I am pregnant, we've been excited all the more each day passes. We always talks about the baby and the future. That includes his/her name. We're still unsure of the gender though I believe that at least we have a saved name for either a girl or boy baby. Huny kept on playing with our baby's name. First he told me he wanted it to be a superhero type, then his online game character. Now his thinking of a funny,cool name he reads on gadget forums. It's not that he's making funny of our baby just that he was still undecided. The very first serious name he provided to me when I ask him for a baby girls is SHENDELLEZARE. He had this feeling that he told me, we will be having a baby girl. I even joked at him that maybe it was her ex-crush or so. But he answered me it is also one of the toughest character in the computer game. I knew he was an addictive gamer, he loves computer games more than movies though he appreciates good movies. Then I even think that my cousin's son named after an another character also in computer game which is Kerrigan, Shamel and Azrael. Now the younger generation in our clan will be filled with online game characters?..huh. Shendellezare seemed good I guess. But mom has a different request, She wanted to have it a name or even a second name Denise. Now I need to consider mom's request and thinking of it that will be a long name and I even wanted to have a Khmer on my baby's name.Waaa how will I sum it all up and granted our wants?.. But as for today, I don't know why I am feeling that maybe it's a boy. Anyway I always have bad intuition so the least that I as well will consider..hihihi
Aside from being a father from his siblings, he is also a father to his nephews. Sadly but true. Oh just three siblings anymore because his youngest brother died last year due to gunshot wound. Going back, yes he is a father of three. While sending her younger sister to college,she engaged to unplanned/unexpected pregnancy. Huny was like in deep sorrow during that time when he found out that her sister is pregnant. His sister did not marry the guy and shockingly the guy was years younger to his sister so expect it to be shouldered by him. She and the scenario as well the reason why we planned only just this year of having our own baby.Not later than same year when her sister got pregnant, his younger brother's girlfriend also got pregnant. Another hit for him. His brother was only 18 and the girl was 25 years old that time. Older than the two of us. But he recuperates fast and seeing those things that happened as a blessing. That's what I love about him. He rarely speaks but took things positively.Again as the given situation it was then under his responsibility. But wait there's more ( sounds like selling hahaha) After the delivery of the first child of his brother not later than same year again the girlfriend got pregnant. ( and that did not make me smile promise! if I am going to discuss about this drama ha! it's never ending lol) He's solely responsible for two ladies and now three nephews. When it says responsible no matter how broad it is, that's it!
Now that we'll be having our own family, Huny is having a hard time saying goodbye to the one's used to be his "family" before.Not a hard time to himself but the hard time the "family". Not goodbye physically but goodbye to the responsibilities hopefully. Her sister already graduated from college and her boyfriend, the father of her child also living in their house and just recently have a work same as her sister. His brother already have a work and he thinks it's about time to call his family "HIS FAMILY". He gave her mom a fund for a small business to generate income to support for her youngest sister studies and her mom alone with her pension. He set all the things they needed saying goodbye. But that truth that hurts is they were still not prepared and don't want to let go of Huny .
As a first time dad to our own baby, I can say he seems to be perfect. I guess his patience and being responsible has been tested for years because of his family. Now that we're having our own it's a lot different. More special, more caring and more of a perfect he wishes it to be. I need not to bother myself thinking how will it be for huny to be a father. Because I have seen it long time ago.

Here's my melo-dramatic and a little bit of frustration share on today's couple's Corner
Huny is the eldest among in their family. Since his dad died when he's still in high school, he has no choice but to help his mom raising his 4 more siblings. At first, being in a father position is way out of his views. For him it's not a responsibility. He can help but not devotes his life. Which I beg to disagree. We had both same pattern of life. Early as 11 years old my dad passed away. My eldest brother which is only 16 years old was also forced to the reality that we need to help each other to survive. Not thinking twice or thrice he devoted his teenage life until he reached 28 helping mom and us raising each other. No regrets, all of us finished our studies. That's what I wanted him to adapt. His the eldest and though was asked or oblige, he need to learn to help his siblings. We lived together as early as 21 years old both of us and I don't wanna be blame by his siblings or even his mom that I stole him from them even if it is also his decision. A year being together and with my persuasion he learned helping his family. When the time he decided to help his family, blessings overflowed to him. We live wealthier than ever while helping his sister send to college and other siblings to school. He asks his mom to quit working and focused guiding his teenage younger sister and brother. He provide a better than ever living for his family. I am still the apple of his eyes but I am much happier that he thinks of his family.
It was last May when he wake me up with this song. As I always wanted to wake up late and it seems that he can't move without me awake. This song was played through his phone. And he whispers in my ear "this is for your mom".
Enjoy these lovely music I happened to know by him. Probably because our wedding bells started ringing huh.. =)
We have been together for years, I wonder how come we did not yet felt the feeling of boredom to each other. hahaha.. I am not wishing for it to come I am just wondering. Full straight three and a half years, literally everyday were together no missed. The first time we haven't been together was last April 2010 when his work demand for a travel to Cebu. It was the first time for three weeks away and we both feel sad about it. It even made him thought that he wanted to refused to his boss. But I disagreed to his idea. I explained that sooner or later we both need to hug changes in our living. It's not always about us. He gladly accepts and went to Cebu. But our communication was nonstop. We had text messages, ym or even skype and there were a lot of times he called in a day. Expensive addiction (lol).
Especially now when we found out I am pregnant he misses me more and more.He always wanted to be by my side.He wants to always come home here at Cavite. But it's impractical again and his health will be compromised. I strictly scheduled his day when to come home and stay at our apartment. Since he continued paying the apartment, he must took the advantage of it.It's not that I don't want him to be home I just don't want to compromise his health. His gaining too much weight but not healthy. That's because lack of enough rest from commuting 3-4 hours going home.But every time he comes home I felt a different happy feeling whenever his around. Maybe that's how we love each other much. ^_^..No sawa factor!
I forgot the title of the movie but that movie really made me and my friends vomits because of the scene which is a tragedy like and camera is also like in a disaster.
It's confirmed and already booked! As usual mom gave us a gift early as yesterday. Thanks to Cebu Pacific promos. I only wanted to visit back again Mom's province but because I need to follow norms, I cannot. We were getting married this 20th of August and feast on Samar will be on August 16.Folks said it is not good to travel that far before the wedding date because it is likely prone to accidents. As what they say. So instead mom ask me to booked her and her sister with the help of my cousin Ate Joan who works at the said airline company whom give me tips regarding on discounts and booked for us sometimes.Gladly, or because she felt guilty (hihihi) mom volunteered to booked for us,Huny and me, since she have known that there is a promo for all domestic flights from June 1st to 3rd.
Now we just need to finish fees obligations related to our upcoming wedding and after that we can enjoy mom's gift. Though by that time I am 7 months pregnant and honey moon will not be an exciting thingy (to others) anymore (but for us it is!! lol). Of all the destination we wanted to go together, first on our list was Cebu. It is because of huny's promised to his rector friend ands soon to be godfather Fr. Bubot that we will be visiting him there and the Rogationist College branch at Cebu, huny's alma mater. Looking forward for a happy and safe vacation. I am now much of excited for the honey moon than the wedding itself..hihihi..
We're not yet married but we were getting married this August. It's because before I met him and till we've been together I don't believe in marriage. Anyway everything changed now. We have been living together for 5 years. We always have our own place and provide for our own. It's like a life of a married couple but only the absence of the holy sacrament. So we considered each other husband and wife.
He's not an ideal husband if it talks about household chores. Don't get me wrong with this I love him to bits and will never stay that long with him and looking forward more years to stay together if I did not. I pertains to household chores. A lot that He Can't! His family was not that rich but he was treated differently. He was spoiled by his mom. That until today I can feel that too much favoritism in their house when it talks about him. That leads him not to learn household chores. Blame it to her mom alone.(hehe) First years together was the hard part. I had to teach him everything. I am person knows how to live alone. I was taught and trained by my mom. Not only me but all of us three, my brothers and me. Mom taught us to be independent whenever and wherever. Move on our own. Live to survive.Couple's meant to help each other. Through thick and thin. From easiest to hardest. Husband cannot help me at home. He can but I prefer not to.^_^ He will just going to mess things. hehehehe.. He is the best cause he will do everything to work and earn hard to provide for someone to help me or do the task instead. Impractical? that's what he is. Little by little living with us (mom's house) he learned a lot. Somehow he's open for changes and learning..hehehehe.His eagerness to learn makes me love him much.
Outside home he's the best. (bawi lol). He's a jealous hubby ever even until today that I am in my second trimester. It feels good because it makes me feel I am still the most beautiful though I gain weight and a lot of changes in my body due to pregnancy related reasons happened. Last night when were buying my milk and vitamins, somebody texted me. The number was not saved on my phone and the sender did not bother to introduce itself. It's just a simple "hi" and "how are you" message. Then he read it and ask me who was it. I said I don't know cause I really don't know who was it. He joked on me but not directly he just said that the pregnant lady has a textmate (may katextmate ang buntis). I laughed. I know it was a joke but that's how he is if he's jealous. Does it in a joke then later on keep on asking me who was it. The cashier even laughed and other customers. I supposed to feel ashamed but instead I felt proud.
Lastly, I will never forget the day when he chose me instead of his dreams, wants,some of his important friends and his own mom. It's just a short period of time commotion but it really has a big impact and tattooed on my heart. He never failed to let me feel I am the most especial.
