Sixty Three

Hon,
It's our 63rd month being together. I never get tired of remembering from the very first day.. The day I told myself  "by hook or by crook he will be the one for me". The day you snob and just nod on me made me felt more challenged. hahaha. I never regrets those times I felt like giving up but gladly I didn't because of you being so childish, to your unintentional but extremely annoying flaw, slow and lack of priorities.
Things has a lot different from then. You have changed a lot. Actually we both did.  I learned to love and accept all your best, flaws and even shortcomings. That's how our relationship works. Though how ultimately opposite we are from the very beginning of our cool love story, no one thought we will gonna make it last but we did and finally say our vows. Like any other love story, ours is not always a bed of roses. I wanna thank you for being cool in times like I m freaking mad at you. You still managed to make me smile though I've reached my boiling point. Maybe I just love you that much that though I am extremely mad it will easily fades with you making fun of our problems. Now we are a family. You still have those cliches that I am complaining but that didn't make me love you less. I appreciate you more being a loving daddy to Lyxn. More loving husband to me. Good provider than ever. I am thankful for everyday that you were showering us your love. For signing a contract of full time daddy and a husband. :)).
Thank you for making me a person that I am today. Your love made me  a better person, better than before we met sixty three months ago.

Happy Sixty Three Huny/Dad. I love you much.

Tears of Joy.. For Real?!!

I am not an emotional type. Or rather I am but never shown my emotion to others or even to the closest person. I am tough. Hubby rarely sees me cry. As much as I control my emotion not to cry. I sometimes think I am a real guy. That crying is a sign of weakness for me to describe. That's why I experience tears of joy/overwhelming once. Last valentines day was my first experienced of it. I was amazed that it can happen to me to cry a river because of happiness. After that cheesy valentine, I never experienced it again. Even after I gave birth. Or should I say I am just tired of the process am gone through and got no chance to emote. I am happy, extremely happy for her arrival. But wait there's more... Here's the main character of my post.. The father. Hubby. As the nurse in the nursery showed them our angel, unconsciously a tear fell. He don't want it to be obvious cause he's with my mom and tried to wiped it away but it was then seen by mom. And as a secretive and private person I thought he will not tell it to anyone. Surprisingly as I borrowed his phone after 48 hours, when I try to clear his sent items, accidentally I read his messages to his boss and our godparent priest sharing his feeling.
hindi ko po napigilang maiyak faths nung nakita ko yung baby ko. ganun pala yun. I'm so very happy
Funny. I found it funny because I am not used to it that he will react that way and even told it to somebody but touching. I can feel how much he loves our princess. Every night though how dead tired he is, he still have time and energy to take care of his little girl. Lucky my princess right.

If Only I can, I Will

I promised hubby he will be back to school supposedly this year. It was to lather and get different certificates on programs relating to information technology. It is not a literal school schedule with units and etcetera only a specific programs and trainings. Since we got married, now having baby, plans were set aside. Those kind of certifications is not a joke at its expense. It actually cost huge to our budget. It's like taking a master degree. I know he still wanted to pursue that career though he's not bringing it up recently. Hubby is the eldest son, a father almost who has all the responsibility. Too bad to think though his siblings has family now, we still need to consider them, his mom and younger sister solely his (and now us) responsibility. As a wife, I know I need to accept those unacceptable truth. We are Filipino!Culture and beliefs! Though how I wanted to support hubby to his dream, he always said we still have priorities. I don't even want to be back on my field as a nurse for I know and aware that I will not be compensated well and that fact will not going to help us. I am then setting my plans to be back on a BPO industry after giving birth. Though we have a small business that can accommodate our everyday needs, seems it was still not enough as I have mentioned hubby has an never ending responsibility. The only thing that we see possibilities if we will both work and that's the time he can study. I know how hard for it to hubby but he never shows it. He just laugh at it, sometimes includes in his corny jokes but I can feel his eagerness to have trainings done. If fortunately we will be blessed so much next year, I want to give hubby what he's dreaming for. Cross fingers with prayers. I know we can!

Sweet Saturday 18: Fidelity

I have been passing by this meme badge that I always saw on Ate Jona's blog. First because I can't recognized it  whether a meme badge or a blog badge. But now I know and already found out it's a meme! And I am excited to be part of it! I am formerly enjoying the couple's corner cause it's about you and your partner stories. I love to write about us and read about others too. Since that meme has been closed by the host Mommy Liz, I am then looking for almost the same meme here in the blogosphere. Glad Ate Jona has this one.
As my first entry, the topic is about Fidelity.
Fidelity' is the quality of being faithful or loyal
If this word will be applied to our relationship, I am a hundred percent sure husband have this. I need not to ask nor test for it anymore. Seriously in our relationship for years I was the one who  had more questionable acts when it talks about trust and loyalty that was before. If hubby has cliches to be called in our marriage, those were petty stuff like maƱana habit, tardiness and so on that I learned to adjust to. But no bigger and heavier cliche'. Now as we enter another stage of our life, we were both sure then that we can assure each other we now have it within. As we solely offers our life to God and promised as He was the center of our marriage. These were only words,I know, maybe some who was in  broken marriage I guess also stated the same  phrase. How sure I am about these? It's because of  what we have. I have faith in HIM and in him. Him as He lead me to these person now my husband. And him, my hubby, who remains to be with me and love me unconditionally.

Hey sissy's come and join  us share our stories here in Sweet Saturday!
