Catching Up

My husband is so much aware of the story about "ofizserye". An office flirtationship  starring  former friends.

He accidentally read the conversation one time when I asked him to checked my phone who texted me and my messenger is always open at our computer and in the tablet. So I just shared him the "ofizserye" story.

That was a former friend who chose to try the feeling of infidelity to her husband and the usual guy who will grab any opportunity for the girl who just opened the possibilities. Funny the girl always says they we're not doing anything wrong cause there's no physical contact. Alright, talk to the hand :p ..

Former friend because I refused to call her a friend, I burst out what I felt when she finally got what she wanted.  She lied for a purpose and use me.

Oh well this is not about them. This is about us, me and hubby, relating to what was happening to their marriage. FYI both the cast of "ofizserye" portrayed to have a happy complete family. Both were well of living and their husband and wife were successful professionals.

Oh life is not really fair. You can't have it all.

Anyway that's one of our hot topic during our date night. And as he said so, reason why other couple's tend to look for someone whom they can jive/ enjoy with because they were not enjoying their spouses company anymore. As he said never look for anybody's companionship aside from your husband/wife.
Very well said Sir.

But actually this is our pre-birthday celebration for him. Happy 32nd h0n. mwuahh.
So I posted this to my social media account with the caption.:

Don't ever stop dating your wife and don't ever stop flirting with your husband.. Baka sa iba pa makipagdate at makipagflirt yan

We are One

When you get married, the couple is called as one. Whatever your issues keep it to yourselves, within the family or better talk about it as husbands and wife. Relatives and in laws can't help neither. I can't remember if it was an advice or I read a book or heard (whatsoever) that a couple's problem will not be solve by anyone but only the party involve. Advices, reactions, suggestions sometimes make it more complicated. Better do a counseling together. Together! It should always be together!
A good friend of mine keep on posting about their couple's issue in her social media account. She was known to be the nicest and most patient gal in high school. I am opt to send her a private message worrying if how she will handle my reactions about her post. She's a dear friend indeed and my concern is pure. She's one of the people who treated me and teaching me to be a lady like. I remember the days that she was like my "mommy" at school. Glad that after our conversation at least I think, I made her felt a little better. I really hope so.

Swinging Together

Marriage life is a  not always a great journey. It's not always a lullaby like swing nor always a windy play. There were times that patience, love, trust and faith is being test. All you have to do is to hold on to each other. Each other is your strength. It's like riding in a literal swing with cedar swingsets while holding each other . To balance and keep it moving together. No one will go jump out without the other or it can't be as pleasurable as it is if there's no cooperation of each other.
In our case, I believe we are being tested by time and life challenges. We are facing troubles at times and as we go together the more we value and love each other. We appreciate our differences not contradict. We work on our issues and adjust so that we will complement. On how we cope up and see things in  different way help us to see things outside the box. We we're not perfect. We are not trying to be perfect, we just want to enjoy life and build better life for  our children. We have petty and big understandings. The good thing about our marriage is that we never clash. Hubby is always been patient enough not to fight  nor talk to me if I am mad. If we have issues we let ourselves calm down prior talking with each other. It may took days but not a week, I learned from hubby to clear my mind, calm my emotions and think of the resolution, compromise and ways to prevent a next big fight.  He never taught  me by words nor advises but instead I learned from his actions , then I confirmed to him if I am getting the message right. I may have a strong personality, I still need a husband that will guide me, feed my spiritual being and the one that I know whose always on my back no matter what. He may not be the guy that is at all times  strong enough to depend on but surely will never leave me.

Cheers to a decade of being together and counting more.

Stronger Together

Life is not always a fairy tale. It is not always a happily ever after. There were lots of challenges along the journey. Challenges that will make you weaken, almost surrender but then you will overcome and hone you as a person that will make you stronger. What makes it a sweet success is having a person beside you who supports you. Help you with the challenges. Never letting go of your hand during the tough times. Letting you know you're not alone. The one who will walk with you, smiling and saying we made it. And that's what makes me lucky.

I have this guy who is not perfect but never leaves me behind. He's like my David Taylor who will always saves the day. We have little fights and misunderstanding but we have ways to work things out. We may not be known as the best couple, however for us we were. It is a mutual understanding that we believe, we are destined and created for each other. We can make all things together and of course with God's provision. We are not perfect but we work with our imperfections. We have one goal and traveling to one same path of our journey. Understanding each weakness, being a strength of each other and celebrating together.
A little fact about us, my husband is my major source of spiritual healing. I am his emotional strength. For the record, I am not that evil ha. It just that I am not a believer of goodness at all times. My husband is. He always have benefit of the doubt for everything and everyone. I am not like him. I don't usually trust people. I have reservations for everyone. Except for my family. Then my husband has big strong body but a soft heart. He can't be alone at one place for a long period of time. He admittedly told me those were things he can't do.  For us, if you are weakened at some point, I am here to be your strength.  We don't have much of mellow drama or sweet flicks time but we have our unique ways letting each other feel you are important and our "  i love yous" Compromise, trust, respect, loyalty and love for each other is our fuel to all the challenges and to our life journey.

Am I Lucky Having You?

You are not the typical sweet guy( or probably just to me) . You cannot help me with household chores by heart. You are not that sensitive to me. You don't want me to dress up. Only 30% of my ideal guy is what I've found about you. Seems I never had my dream guy on you. Despite of, I know I am too much lucky and BLESSED having you.
Your not sweet but your over protective .
You're not doing household by initiative but you will work hard to fund somebody else do it instead of me( not a practical wife but I appreciate that).
You are not sensitive because you want me to open up and not solely bear troubles on my own.
You don't want me to dress up because you always make me feel I am the fairest of them all. ( though I am 100% aware of the fact lol).
30% of my ideal but 101% of others desiring to have. You are too good to be mine. What I have done on my past that I have been so blessed having you.

I am the Luckiest Woman

You may be weak at times but I assure you you have me at your back.
You may be silent at the moment but I am here to cheer you up and make your life a little too noisy.
You may be hesitant at times, I am here what matters most.
Your strong faith and love to God is our engine to fuel all things up.
And that's why I love you hon.

Working it Together - Getting Fit

I know, we're guilty. We are both O-B-E-S-E. We can't help it. No enough time to sleep, not so healthy diet to much consumption of unnecessary food . Hubby started biking. At first a simple bike and keep on upgrading and as per their term "upgraditis" condition. I love the idea since I am really don't have the power to stop him or limit him on his intake. He cannot do basketball because he has ACL Injury.  He said can go unto running either. Cannot go back to the gym anymore etcetera etcetera. He convinced me that biking best suites him to maintain a good health despite his intakes.Oh well I am get his point , tired of arguments and cannot beat him so he suggested me to join him instead.

Our first bike date was November 2, 2014 , All Souls Day. And I just borrowed a super heavy bike which supposedly for downhill type not for a road type biking.

Picture after numerous rest. hehehe

Picture right after the trail going to the public cemetery to pay a visit. I was about to collapse.

Valentines 2014

I never expected that I will still celebrate Valentine's day. For husband and I swore that everyday is a valentines to us as long as we we're together and happily facing each day with our little gems. That's why I am really surprise that day I received something from him. He picked me up from work from the usual place he did, we ate and have some little chat. Prior that week was a tough journey, since our son was confined aside from financial problems the thing that both of us bothers most was the condition of the baby. Thank God he never let us walk through our path alone and always let us feel blessed. Back again, he surprised me of a heart shape stuff with "I Love You" prints, an authentic Guess wallet and the most that touched me was the letter made by him. So personalized and so touching. Then again a frugal me attacked as I asked him why buy me an expensive wallet instead save for our kids necessities. He answered me that he bought it month before Valentines and before our son hospitalized. I told him that the letter suffice everything. For a person who rarely talk about his feelings, imagine what was the letter contents. So be it. Feels like yesterday we met as he let me feels I am still that special all through these years we've been together. This post was a bit late since I get pissed off from some issues of our customer at the shop. But I promised to myself I forgave her yesterday which I did. :)

Appreciating Him More

I do appreciate my husband . Seriously I do! I know how imperfect he is but seemed to be perfect to me. We may have some issues but we can immediately work it out. I appreciate his patience and his understanding. Even spoiling me at online shopping and my frequent visits to online shop like Zalora or any other online dealing websites. I love how we handle each others areas of opportunity's to work on. At time's I am stubborn, my husband always handling it to the full extent he can. We never met halfway when we're both mad. It's always one way or another rule. The reason that making me more appreciates him was knowing some people, some guys which do not have enough patience and love as him when it comes to their woman. I am a blessed mean woman having him in my life.

Not a Handy Man

He's superb in computers.
He's updated in Information Technology stuff.
He's a gadget buff.
He's playful daddy.
He's superb.
He's almost perfect for us.

---but he's not a Handy Man.

Yeah, He isn't. Carpentry such stuff is not for him. I am once laughed him about it when we were still two living in an apartment. Most of the time if I want to fix such stuff, I have to make it on my own. I cannot depend on him doing it or he will say pay someone to fix it for you. During those times I only thought that he was just being generous and playing lazy don't want to make his hands dirty. But today, as we practice a practical living, I found out the real reason. Hammer, nails and other carpentry tools isn't his friends. He can work with screws and screw driver IF it is for computers and computer casing and printers but not on woods, broken chairs or tables etc. The good thing about it is that, I myself love doing such carpentry works because of my endless DIY ideas. So we need not to argue who will hold and keep the hammer. Heehee.

I Thank God for This Day

I can't thank God enough that angels sent you to your mom. You were born, nourished and grew up to be a better person. Your far from perfect yet we loves you that much. I guess that's the magic of love that binds us. Acceptance, understanding and loving despite and in spite of.  The moment I knew you seven years ago, you were far from that person now. Everyday your growing and maturing. Like a lady that blossoms beautifully, that's how you grew as well. Day by day turning into better and better person.

I know we sometimes have misunderstanding, conflicts and issues--- but we're surpassing all of those. We're not perfectly match made from heaven, instead we're two ultimately opposite individual who forced our love story to turned out to reality. Which we (isn't it? :D ) never regret doing so. We have a long journey waiting ahead of us and I know we will face it all together as a cheerful , tough and loving family.

Cheers to this day! The same day my heart melts (as it pours to yours :D ) . More birthdays Daddy. Second year we celebrated it as a family and another gift to you our baby boy :D (as you say so precious gifts enough you received from HIM).

My Rainbow

Our marriage journey is not always heaven but one thing that is always present is a rainbow within. Though how hard the road were going thru and dark it maybe, there's always a little twinkling colorful light showing. We were not staying together because we should nor got no choice nor for the kids. We were staying together because that's what we both wanted. We both choose. And we both know that what we chose is always the best among all options.

I am always be thankful the day that I flirted with a guy that don't like me but got no choice but to take care of me that night just because of a friend's request.  I never imagined that it will be the start of my never ending rainbow. Though I can't see the pot of gold at the end, I am already thankful that my rainbow has no end.

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Thank you for the patience. You may not be the perfect husband but I know in her eyes you are a perfect dad. Though sometimes you were the same reason why she gets hurt, she know it still you who saved her. Don't worry only us (around) can notice that its your fault. :)  The important is your daughter believes you were always her hero.

Now that we're becoming four I am rooting for a bigger change. Bigger change from you, from me too and from our daughter as well. As we welcome our new member of the family there are lots of changes and I know some bumps on the roads as well but we can all surpass it as whole loving family.

Happy Father's day Daddy. We love you!

Kung Fu Movies

Aside from remarkable English movies, husband is also a fan of kung fu movies. Since this kind of movies is not usually being seen at the big screen nor advertised much in tv, I am sometimes wondering where he got ideas of the title of those he downloaded. Specially most of the movies isn't titled as English. He have a lot of collection of this kind of movies. Actually I am not particular what to put on my title because basically I also don't know if all the movies I am describing he had is properly tagged to kung fu. As long as I watch with fight scene with no guns and sword except only martial arts, I assumed it's kung fu. He said his passion with those kind of movies started in his high school days. Wherein their rectors were giving the interns time to watch movies once in a while as form of relaxation or a breather after a week or so of focusing on studies and most of it were martial arts related movies. Since husband and I been together we never missed a week without watching this stuff. Good thing about watching it, it had lesser violence than any other action movies. It's less violent yet full of actions. Sometimes I get tired of it I felt like we're watching same movies over and over again but with the help of subtitle and understanding the story I can say it's worth watching besides most of the story is about dynasty and china's history.

Just Give Me A Reason

My post title is exactly a song's title by an artist named Pink. I just love it's meaning and also the rhythm.

Right from the start
You were a thief you stole my heart
And I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty
And with every touch you fixed them
Now you've been talking in your sleep
Things you never say to me
Tell me that you've had enough
Of our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

I'm sorry I don't understand where all of this is coming from
I thought that we were fine
Oh we had everything
Your head is running wild again
My dear we still have everything
And its all in your mind
Yeah but this is happening
You've been having real bad dreams
Oh oh
You used to lie so close to me
Oh oh
There's nothing more than empty sheets
Between our love, our love, oh our love, our love

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

I never stopped
You're still written in the scars on my heart
Your not broken just bent and we can learn to love again

Oh tears ducts and rust
I'll fix it for us
We're collecting dust but our love's enough
You're holding it in
You're pouring a drink
No nothing is as bad as it seems
We'll come clean

Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again
It's in the stars
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again

It's been a while that I liked a song lyrics made from today's generation. Most of the new songs where shallow in meanings and sometimes just making a rhyme and it's all done. Reason why I prefer songs from the past. This one is the first that got me hooked for this year. Anyway Pink is my all time fave and she is not a newbie when it comes to music and also she was with my generation . No doubt she/her composer can make a good songs.

Because We We're One

This post isn't for a friend who recently get into trouble because of her attitude about being impulsive most especially if it all about her love life. (don't worry ta hindi to patama hehehe, thanks to you I've got an idea what to post ). Impulsiveness will never ever be a good content in a relationship. Whether it's friendship, family, best friends especially husband and wives. I was once had this attitude and as I go through along my life journey, little by little I realizes things and my attitudes that needs to be corrected. Maybe this is what they called maturity that strikes me. I maybe not fully matured but at least I can control my emotions now not unlike when I was a teen. I admit, I am an impulsive freelancer that always gets into trouble even if it's not my own trouble. And as  I assessed those situation happened in my life before, it ain't that good to share with my kids. Literally means I need to change not for anyone but solely for myself.  It all started within me. I admit recently our marriage is going through a lot of tests. Our patience, our love , our respect for each other and how longer can we bear or need to bear or work things out. Every marriage is going through in some sort of obstacles and we're not exempted on it. The thing that keeping us work everything is our love for each other, for our little family and our trusts that God will never let us to be with each others arms if we weren't meant to be.
How I managed my emotion despite big troubles and mind bursting fights?
I pray. Seriously I am not that religious person but when it comes to our (couple's problem) I just pray. I am not telling it to mom, nor his mom or to my friend or our common friends. Because everyone has an opinion and in a relationship others opinion most of the time isn't exactly for the good. Especially if they heard only your stories or only his side of story. In addition, they have to tell something would have ease the pain but can crack a little to you relationship with your partner. So listen to your heart, pray and assess yourself . It's not being martyr it's more of being responsible and mature enough handling personal relationships.
Impulsiveness will lead you to nowhere but a heartache. Both of you. As I always remember the homily (I don't know if it's homily actually) maybe an advice, by the priest whom officiate our wedding ceremony that we we're one. Treat each other as if it was yourself. You are one in God's eye so if he/she's in trouble save her/him. From that day on you will not be complete without each other. Your completeness composed the two of you. This words that I take by heart. So whatever  I did, I always thought both of us is responsible and I don't want to take chances of getting into trouble, hurting forever just because of impulsiveness.

Kettle Korn: Poppin’ Fun All The Time!

I love popcorns! My wife, brothers in law, mother in law and my siblings can testify to that. But not any popcorn in the market! I am a Kettle Korn Popcorn lover. My wife always jokes on me that if only Kettle Korn will give freebies to those who has lots of wrappers at home, maybe we already join and win some stuff. It happened one time that we donated our empty wrappers of Kettle Korn to a neighbor whose daughter was a contestant of  certain competition that costumes must be made of  recyclable. Kettle Korn is my buddy in watching movies. I enjoy movies I downloaded only if I have a popcorn beside. Movie marathon is not complete without it.

KettleKorn

Now my favorite popcorn in partnership with Nuffnang holds a movie screening contest to one of my favorite movie too, the Fast and Furious 6. I have been watching since the first part of this movie in the big screen. Though I can download it online I prefer seeing it, gets excited and amazed on the big screen with my wife, who happened to love the movie because of me too.Watching Fast and Furious movies are also our "us" time.

Fast and Furious 6 Trailer

If you were to star in your own movie, what would your story be? Share with us your plot. Also, tell us how Kettle Korn makes watching movies poppin’ fun all time!

I am a homebody and enjoys in front of the computer even for a week. My own movie would likely be center to a not so action but more of a mind story. Like Zohan, I will be like a country's asset that highly paid and being well taken cared for my knowledge and skills can solve problems, helps improvement whether in health or technology, can ruin one's country and can make anyone a billionaire. I am a certain genius that was owned by a special agency. Sort of a weird movie because I am a couch potato and just like staying in a place but mind travels.

As I mentioned kettle korn is my movie budddy. Movies will never be as good as it is if will not be enjoyed by my favorite popcorn!.

Iron Man 3 Movie Review of a Noob

I am one of those lucky Nuffnang bloggers who won the ticket to experience the Iron Man 3 Movie at Newport Cinema Resorts World. Thanks to Nuffnang a free movie date for me and husband. As usual hubby did enjoy the movie and the free large coke and popcorn too :).

Same old brand new , I am not into cartoon- like movie. I'm a lot different from those who loves watching this supah hero thingy. But nonetheless I can say  the movie is worth watching. I enjoy every  scene. Though I am not that familiar with the story from the beginning, it didn't made me clueless watching the part three of it. It's my husband who used to watch movies like these ( well guys will be guys I think!) He said ain't gonna enjoy the movie if it wasn't me he's going to watch it with so better to thug me along than make him look for another to thug huh. hee hee. Other than action I can say the movie is a romantic comedy like. I enjoy the gadgets, technology and the punchlines as well. I am just a little bit surprised with the leading lady named Pepper Potts. Not until I read the credits at the end that it was Gwyneth Paltrow. Both husband and I were really surprised. I never read a movie review nor the teaser not to spoil my excitement to see the full movie. So as what I mentioned the character casting did surprised me.

Teaming with Harley, a precocious 10-year-old boy, Stark investigates the remains of a local explosion bearing the hallmarks of a Mandarin attack. He discovers the explosions were triggered by soldiers from the Extremis program, an experimental treatment intended to allow its users to recover from crippling injuries. However, if a user's body cannot properly metabolize Extremis, the user heats up and explodes. After veterans started growing unstable and exploding, their deaths were used to cover up Extremis' flaws by manufacturing a terrorist plot. Stark witnesses Extremis firsthand when Mandarin agents Ellen Brandt and Eric Savin attack him.

With Harley's help, Stark traces the Mandarin to Miami. Stark infiltrates the headquarters using a variety of home-made weapons. Inside he discovers the Mandarin is actually a British actor named Trevor Slattery, who is oblivious to the acts the Mandarin has carried out. The Mandarin is a creation of Killian, who appropriated Maya's Extremis research as a cure for his own disability and expanded the program to include injured war veterans. Killian reveals he is the true Mandarin and has kidnapped Potts and subjected her to Extremis, intending to infuse her with superhuman abilities and turn her against Stark as leverage to gain Stark's aid in fixing Extremis's flaws.
Killian has also manipulated American intelligence agencies regarding the Mandarin's location, luring James Rhodes — the former War Machine, now rebranded as the Iron Patriot — into a trap to steal the armor. Stark escapes his captivity and reunites with James, discovering that Killian intends to attack President Ellis aboard Air Force One. Remotely controlling his Iron Man armor, Stark saves the surviving passengers and crew but cannot stop Killian from abducting Ellis. They trace Killian to an impounded oil drilling platform where Killian intends to kill Ellis on live television. The vice president will become a puppet leader, following Killian's orders in exchange for Extremis to cure a little girl's disability.
On the platform, Stark goes to save Potts, and James saves the President. Stark summons each of his Iron Man suits, controlled remotely by JARVIS, to provide air support. James secures the President and leads him to safety, while Stark discovers Potts has survived the Extremis procedure. However, before he can save her, a rig collapses around them and she falls to her apparent death. Stark is forced into confronting Killian and traps him in an Iron Man suit that self-destructs, but fails to kill him. Potts, whose Extremis powers allowed her to survive her fall, intervenes and finishes Killian once and for all.
After the battle, Stark orders JARVIS to destroy each Iron Man suit remotely, as a sign of his intention to devote more time to Potts. The Vice President and Slattery are arrested. Potts undergoes surgery to remove Extremis, and Stark to remove the shrapnel embedded near his heart. He pitches his obsolete chest arc reactor into the sea, musing he will always be Iron Man, even without his armor.
